Epistemology Meets Logic, Informally
There will be an informal meeting on Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1 where philosophers and logicians will gather to discuss a variety of issues in epistemology. The goal is to provide an opportunity for fruitful interaction between "formal" epistemologists and "mainstream" epistemologists. There will be four sessions:
  1. Evidence and Justification
  2. Information Dynamics
  3. Probabilistic Methods
  4. Connections with Other Fields
We hope that by focusing on these specific themes and including talks by both Logicians and Epistemologists, our workshop will be a catalyst for collaboration between researchers using formal and non-formal methods studying similar epistemic issues.
