Index of Software Extensions
This page is a jumping point to manual pages describing extensions and
additions to various software packages that I have
created as a member of the Stanford
Vision Laboratory. Everything you see here is available.

-
- imgPpmCompare compares two PPM images
and returns a PBM image marking the pixels where the two images differ. This
routine provides an easy way to extract curves drawn on a copy of an image for
further processing.
- imgPpmUncompare performs the opposite
function. It takes a PBM image and a PPM image and marks the color image with
pixels in your choice of color. It provides an easy way to compare an
algorithm's output with the original image.
- imgCanny2 is an implementation of
imgCanny except that two floating-point images representing the gradient
are passed in as input.
-
- svl_vcanny is a multi-dimensional
implementation of Vista's Canny edge detector. It is designed to work on all
bands of an image rather than the first.

Tcl/Tk
- crop, or "Image Cropper," is a utility
that allows one to easily crop and save swatches of PPM images.
