Sorting Setting

Under “Sort Criteria for Team Standings”, the method for ranking teams that appears in the Reports and Web Reports can be selected.

All methods use the win–loss record as the first criterion. “Record, PPG” breaks ties by ranking the team with more points per game higher. “Record, Head–to–Head, PPG” breaks ties first by the win–loss record amongst teams in the tie, then by points per game. “Record, SS” breaks ties based on which team faced stronger competition: specifically, strength–of–schedule is the average points–per–game of the team and each of that team’s faced opponents. “Record, PPTH” breaks ties based on points per tossup heard. “Record, Head–to–Head, PPTH” breaks ties first by the win–loss record amongst teams in the tie, then by points per tossup heard. Finally, there is a checkbox to have individual players sorted by points per tossup heard (the default is to have players sorted by points per game).
