There will be an informal meeting on Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1 where philosophers and logicians will gather to discuss a variety of issues in epistemology. The goal is to provide an opportunity for fruitful interaction between "formal" epistemologists and "mainstream" epistemologists. There will be four sessions:
- Evidence and Justification
- Information Dynamics
- Probabilistic Methods
- Connections with Other Fields
We hope that by focusing on these specific themes and including talks by both Logicians and Epistemologists, our workshop will be a catalyst for collaboration between researchers using formal and non-formal methods studying similar epistemic issues.
