I traveled around the Middle-East during the summer 1968. I first went to Istanbul by train (from France). Then I traveled by bus through Turkey and Iran, by plane from Abadan in southern Iran to Kuwait (a very short hop), and by bus through Iraq, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon. I flew back from Beirut to Paris. The following pictures are from Turkey, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. Click here for pictures shot in Iran during this same trip and during two other trips in 1970 and 1974.
