I graduated from the Computer Science Department on 12 June 2000, the 4th Ph.D. advised by Carlo Tomasi in the Stanford Vision Laboratory. My dissertation, "Early Vision Using Distributions," is covered by the two links at the top of this page.
I now work at Google after a couple of start-ups (SnapTell was acquired by Amazon) and large companies.
This picture of me is intended to show the difficulties of processing images via a computer. Current technology can find my face nowadays (something it couldn't in the mid '90s), but can it find the outline of my head?
