ImageVision Library Format Extension for PPM Images
The SGI ImageVision Library allows programmers to derive new classes to
support new image file formats. Such an extension has been written for PPM
images.
To properly use this extension, the following environment variables should be
set:
IL_FILE_FORMAT_PATH
This variable tells the ImageVision library where to look for
the Dynamic Shared Objects (DSO's). It should be set to:
/u/ruzon/lib/ImageVision/filefmt:/usr/lib/ImageVision/filefmt

LD_LIBRARY_PATH
This variable tells the runtime linker which additional directories
to look in. It should be set to:
/u/ruzon/lib/ImageVision/filefmt
