                 Colloquium on Combinatorics
                 14th and 15th November 1997
              Technical University Braunschweig



Dear colleagues:


As in former years we would like to invite you to come to Braunschweig to
participate in the Colloquium on Combinatorics.

Arrival is planned for Thursday, November 13, in the evening. The end of the
colloquium will be on Saturday, November 15, in the late afternoon. In
invited lectures in the morning and short contributions of 20 minutes length in
parallel sessions in the afternoon topics dealing with combinatorics and
discrete mathematics in the widest sense will be discussed. You are invited to
announce a short contribution before October 1, 1997 using the enclosed
form.

We have blocked rooms at prices from 50 to 115DM (single room,
including breakfast). Please, mark the corresponding squares on the enclosed
registration form if you want us to make the hotel reservations for you. If you
want to arrange your lodging on your own you may contact the ``Staedtischer
Verkehrsverein'' (phone +49-531/273550, fax +49-531/2735519).

Please, send us an abstract of your talk of at most 10 lines length by
November 1, 1997. We would prefer abstracts to be submitted electronically in
LaTeX to c.thuermann@tu-bs.de . Instructions for preparing the
LaTeX file you will find in our WWW page (see below).
Please, point this announcement to interested colleagues.

A second announcement will be sent at the beginning of November.
