Papers pertaining to all aspects of information security are solicited for submission to the 1997 Information Security Workshop >From all over the world. Papers may present theory, technique, applications, and practical experience on a variety of topics relevant to information security and cryptography. Invited speakers are Dr. Bellare(UCSD), Dr. Desmedt(UWM), Dr. Preneel(K.U. Leuven) and Dr. Zheng(Monash U.). A number of stipends are available to those unable to obtain funding to attend the workshop. Students whose papers are accepted and who will present a paper themselves are encouraged to apply if such assistance is needed. Requests for stipends should be addressed to the organizing chair. Instructions for authors Papers should be original and unpublished. Submit five (5) copies of your paper (not exceeding 8 pages) to a program co-chair Okamoto with a cover letter indicating that your paper is a submission for the 1997 Information Security Workshop, and listing the authors names, email and postal address, phone and fax numbers, and identifying the contact author. The paper should be written in English and start with the title, the authors names, email and postal addresses and abstract. Where possible all further communication to the authors will be via email.
