Middle-East (Summer 1968): Turkey,
Iran, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon
Return to my mountaineering/trekking/travel webpage
I traveled
around the Middle-East during the summer 1968. I first went to Istanbul by
train (from France). Then I traveled by bus through Turkey and Iran, by plane
from Abadan in southern Iran to Kuwait (a very short hop), and by bus through
Iraq, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon. I flew back from Beirut to Paris. The
following pictures are from Turkey, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon.

1970 and 1974.
