Panama (March 2018): Mangrove of the Chiriqui Gulf
Return to main Panama 2018 page
The coast of the westernmost Pacific province of Panama, Chiriqui, is home to an amazing labyrinth of swamp, mangrove, narrow channels, and islands (most uninhabited). Unfortunately, I only spent a few hours there at the very end of this trip to Panama.
Aerial views of the mangrove area from the plane just before landing in David, the Chiriqui province′s capital.
