The Document Window

  figure100
Figure 7: The document window.

The Document Window is the area where all pages are created and shapes can be positioned. During both the editing and play modes, the Document Window consists of two distinct panels vertically aligned, with the upper large panel being the area for the currently displayed page. The first page of any document will always be called ``page1''; subsequent pages may be renamed at the user's discretion. The lower panel is the ``possessions'' area which functions effectively as a page. The possessions area is always displayed during both the editing and play modes, such that an object moved from one page to the possessions area will remain there until removed, even if the user changes pages in the upper view.
