I graduated from the PhD program at Stanford University in 2005. I was advised by prof. Daphne Koller and collaborated actively with prof. Sebastian Thrun. My main interests are in the development and application of statistical methods to computer vision, computer graphics and robotics problems.

I was at senior researcher at like.com (formerly Riya.com) from 2005 through 2007. There I worked on face recognition in consumer photos, and on algorithms to power their visual search engine.

From 2007 to present I am working at Google on the StreetView product, where I am responsible for pose optimization, image matching to StreetView images, and using the StreetView car sensors to model the environment.
