Daphne Koller
I was born in Jerusalem, Israel. I came to the U.S. for my PhD on July 4, 1989 (Independence Day), and have lived here ever since with my husband, I like to read, listen to music, and hike. Dan and I particularly like to take vacations to exotic locations. In the last few years, we have visited: the Caribbean (several times), including the British Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Dominica, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and more; New Zealand and Australia; Australia again; Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovenia, and Slovakia; Norway, Sweden, and Finland; Thailand (for the Millenium); Tahiti; Belize; and Chile and Argentina. On those vacations, we hike, sail, and recently we learned to scuba dive.
