Daphne Koller
I was born in Jerusalem, Israel. I came to the U.S. for my PhD on July 4, 1989 (Independence Day), and have lived here ever since with my husband, I like to read, listen to music, hike, and play with my two daughters. We particularly like to take vacations to exotic locations. We have visited: the Caribbean (several times), including the British Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Dominica, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and more; New Zealand; Australia (several times); Fiji (twice); Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovenia, and Slovakia; Norway, Sweden, and Finland; Thailand (for the Millenium); Tahiti; Palau; Belize; Chile and Argentina; and Costa Rica. On those vacations, we hike, sail, and recently we learned to scuba dive.
