This
second day consisted of several ups and downs. The first part was mostly across
bush land, whereas the second part provided more diverse scenery, with some
interesting plants, especially giant lobelias.

Local people crush rocks extracted from
this cave and mixed them with salt. The resulting mixture (probably rich in
calcium, potassium, and sodium) is given as food supplement to cattle.

Prior to reaching Angafu we crossed another
forest, again with many Colobus
monkeys (see third photo below).
