Aeolian Islands, Italy: Lipari, Vulcano and Stromboli (March-April 1975)

The Aeolian Islands are a volcanic archipelago north of Sicily. Lipari, Volcano and Stromboli are three of its 8 main islands. Impressive Stromboli is basically an active volcano that rises 926m above sea level and 2700m above sea floor. It has erupted almost continuously for more than 2000 years.
