On Day 2 we continued hiking Cottonwood Canyon slightly beyond waypoint
12. After crossing a mostly flat area, we followed the no-name canyon upward
between waypoints 13 and 17. We then left the canyon and crossed over a ridge
to reach the upper part of Dead Horse Canyon at waypoint 22.
