About me | Research | Publications | Teaching

I am a postdoc in Daphne Koller's lab at Stanford University. Before joining DAGS, I carried out my PhD at ETH Zurich, affiliated to the Machine Learning Laboratory and the Aebersold Group.

My research interests are in machine learning and computational systems biology. Currently, I am developing methods to learn informative network models from perturbation studies in the context of cancer and immune biology. During my PhD I developed statistical methods to design and validate proteome measurements.

I have carried out parallel studies in Biochemistry and Computer Science at the University of Tübingen and been awarded a Diploma in Biochemistry in 2004 and a Diploma in Computer Science in 2006. May 2010 I accomplished my doctoral studies at ETH Zurich .
