Mexico (1967 & 1971 and
2002-2022)
(This banner shows the Mexican coat of arms: an eagle sitting on a
cactus to tell the Aztecs where to found their city, Tenochtitlan,
now Mexico City.)

(Some photos of these two trips show scenes, in particular market scenes in the state of Chiapas, which have completely disappeared from today‛s Mexico.)
Mexico is
one of the most diverse countries in the world, culturally, ethnically,
geographically, climatically, gastronomically...and arguably also one of the
most interesting to visit. But Mexico is big and oddly shaped, traveling
around takes time, and some areas are not quite safe. So, vast regions of the
country remain uncovered in this site. |
