Northern Honshu, Japan (May-June 2025)

This site presents photos I took during a two-week trip to northern Honshu in May-June 2025. I mainly visited: - Aizu-wakamatsu and its surroundings (in Fukishima Prefecture), - Tono and its surroundings (in Iwate Prefecture), - Hirosaki and its surroundings (in Aomori Prefecture), and - the Shimokita Peninsula (in Aomori Prefecture). I also made short visits to Morioka (in Iwate Prefecture) and Aomori City (in Aomori Prefecture). The trip had no particular unifying focus and was quite diverse.
